Over time, sterling silver will naturally tarnish as a result of the metal interacting with the air (we call this oxidation). To keep your silver shiny, we recommend using a jewelry polishing cloth.

Some jewelers intentionally patina their silver in order to create contrast or highlight texture. This patina can wear off with use, especially on rings and bracelets, as they are more "hands on" in interacting with your environment. For a re-patina, jewelry can be sent back to us through our repairs department. Please contact us first before shipping back any items.

We recommend that you do not wear your jewelry in swimming pools or in hot springs. The chlorine in swimming pools can discolor jewelry, while the sulfur from hot springs not only rapidly increases the oxidation of silver but the extreme temperature can cause metal to expand and contract.
